Music from the Punjab has well respected history throughout the world because of its oldest civilizations/oldest instruments and oldest weapons ever.

Punjabi music is used in almost all marriages, concerts. Pakistan Punjab area have its well renowned history, many of the instruments are developed in Pakistan including Dhol, Dhud, Tumbi, Tumba, Sitar, Tabla and Tanpura, which is used all over the world.

Its modern popularity has led to the use of new instruments and electronic sound sampling. Bhangra,Haripa is a Punjabi folk dance for men and women, also Giddha which is performed by the women is commonly known worldwide.
